How to Get Started
Your App ID and App Key, which you will need to pass as authentication headers for each API request, will be displayed as part of your application credentials after you sign in to the developer portal.
The OD API uses an App ID and App key to authenticate requests. You can view your credentials in the developer portal when signed-in. In order to generate these credentials, you can sign-up to a trial (Sandbox) or paid plan here.

Pricing
The Sandbox account is a free trial. The sandbox emulates the Oxford Dictionaries API and gives you the chance to evaluate its functionality. This provides a great opportunity to try the API before moving to a paid-plan. To learn more about the Sandbox and sign-up, please navigate here.
